With this background in mind, my aim for this post to list the products I currently use in my home, how I set them up, how they fit in the bigger picture, and how they talk to each other in automation scenarios. This resulted in rebranding my site from to to cover a wider range of topics. Starting in 2017, when I built a new home, I started my home automation journey. In the past, I focussed a lot of home media management and automation. Over the years, my setup has grown significantly. I write about products that I try and use every day in my life and home. What I share on this site is not some paid-advertising. This site was started to share what I learned, with the community. ![]() I was one of these folks and I understand how stressful it can be. Or, if they are starting from scratch, they may not know what to invest in. They may have trouble envisioning how everything fits together. For a lot of beginners are who are just starting with smart home and automation, the sheer number of possible options can be quite overwhelming. ![]()
